I work mainly in mixed media, collage, acrylics and occasionally watercolours, often  monochromatic I try to capture the atmosphere, spirit of a place, and sometimes the patterns found in landscape and still life.  I enjoy making semi abstract work using monoprints and 'found' shapes of paper which develop as I go along.

I trained at Hornsey School of Art, London and tutored adult education classes for nearly 38 years as well as adult residential courses at The Farnley Concourse, Chichester, West Sussex.  I have also worked for the Greek Islands Club on Paxos, Greece.  For 'Conte' UK Ltd I have acted as an art adviser, consultant, lecturer and demonstrator at exhibitions in London and Paris.

My paintings have been exhibited widely in London and West Sussex and I was a gallery artist for some years at The Gallery, Snape Maltings near Alderburgh, Suffolk. Paintings exhibited annualy with the R.I at the Mall Galleries, London for approximately 7 years until I moved to Plymouth.
