I am the fourth generation of a family of stained glass artists. Born into the business I learned the necessary traditional disciplines as I was growing up. My working life has been spent either restoring old church windows or, increasingly, undertaking new domestic commissions. After many years working in London I have now moved to Cornwall. I still use all the traditional techniques of kiln fired oxide paints and silver stains but now that the pressures of city life are less I am able to introduce other elements such as acid etching, sand blasting and fusing to my repertoire.
