I have lived in Tavistock for over sixteen years. Some years ago Mary Gillett, local artist and print maker, gave a series of workshops at the Molly Owen Centre where I work supporting people to lead fuller, more independent lives. They were very successful workshops and having been introduced to etching I was hooked. It seems to be a magical process where you are never quite sure what result you will get. I also love playing with colour, so the finished work is often like a monoprint on top of an etching and, of course, different every time.
