ART, Science, Nature and 'GRAFT' I have engaged on a visual dialogue with the surrounding countryside in Devon. Originally from an urban environment, I now live in Dartmoor and have decided to use my art as a way of immersing myself in that environment. Digital media and traditional media are the tools of my exploration. There are woodcuts, etchings, digital photography and manipulation and electron microscope images. My work focusses upon my responses to the elemental aspects, earth, rain, decay, time and life. Some of the work is a decorative celebration and some of the work represents the passage of time inherent within the landscape and the chance occurrances that result from such an open dialogue.
