As a textile artist, I am inspired by colour, shape and texture. My work is vibrant and contemporary. I grew up near Lake Thun and the mountains of Switzerland which instilled in me an appreciation of beautiful surroundings. An overland trip to India and Nepal was hugely inspirational so much so that colours and fabrics identified with the East are often incorporated in my work. I create innovative textile pieces using wool, wire, paper, fabrics and found objects. My work ranges from wearable art and jewellery to one-off wall panels and 3D hangings.
