Ian's work is extremely diverse and includes: landscape, seashore, architecture, still life, botanical and transport. Sizes range from miniatures to murals. Apart from depicting the obviously attractive, he takes great delight in giving the mundane a certain 'wow' factor. Born in London, he has lived in the Tamar Valley since 1990 and is an elected member of The Society of Botanical Artists and The Royal Miniature Society. He has been exhibiting in London's Mall Galleries since 1985 and in 2003 received the Llewellyn Alexander Masters Award for the best set of miniature paintings in their London exhibition. Ian is currently showing work at Tavistock Art Gallery Duke St., Kaya Gallery Plymouth Barbican, Mid Cornwall Galleries St Blazey and will be showing work at Higher Street Gallery Dartmouth from Easter 2012.
