One of the central themes of my work over the last 15 years has been process of transition. Night into Day, Day into Night, Blossom into Fragrance, Life into Death. I hope in my work to capture something of their wonder and mystery.
My images are rarely preplanned. I initially work in a semi random way exploiting the chance possibilities of whatever media I`m working in and then like a beachcomber I search the work looking in myself for resonances which carry a felt sense of meaning. I then work to develop what I have found either with the same media or digitally or both.
