The Drawn to the Valley artists live on both sides of the River Tamar. They are united by their passion for this sometimes forgotten Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Tamar Valley. The group formed in 2004, and has since grown from thirty to over one hundred members. It is helping to contribute to the regeneration of the local economy, through selling exhibitions and Open Studios. Largely self-funded, it is run by the artists themselves. The group also serves as a support structure in the solitary profession of making art.

DRAWN TO THE VALLEY OPEN STUDIOS, 2007

 1 – 9 September, 2007, artists will open their doors to the public, throughout the Tamar Valley area, including the Rame Peninsula and Plymouth.

The Drawn to the Valley Open Studios Event is an eagerly awaited nine days, which celebrates the flourishing talents of its members, all professional artists, and fosters links within the local community.
